I wanted to contribute the memories I have of the last WWar as I am now getting on a bit! My children ask me about it at times, and as I was born in 1941, my memories are scarce and hazy, most of my stories are what my Mother passed on to me, but some are my own recollections. Seeing WW2 TV docs. bring up memories, and I welcome a chance to add to the knowledge of ordinary people's involvement, as very soon the direct memories will die with our generation.
