On the Canadian Corvette that rescued me and the other men in the lifeboat in 1943 one of the Canadian crew and I exchanged knives. Mine was a Navy issue with my name on it consisting of one large blade and a spike. His was a personal sheathknife which I still have. I have no name but wonder if he is still alive.
