Over the last few years I have been researching the history of the destroyer HMS Wensleydale (launched 1942). A hunt class escort destroyer.
My research is undertaken when I can find the time. By profession I am self employed and work with trees. I have met and interviewed a number of the crew. All interviews have been recorded and written up at home. I am always on the look out for information about the ship. whether it comes from ex-crew, their reletives or from official records.
