My name is Lesley Myers. The stories that I have contributed to this site are from my father, Commander William L Myers RN (rtd). My father died in August 2004, but he left us his memories of his life, for which we - my brother, Geoffrey, sister Isabel,and I, - are very grateful.

I have been helping as a volunteer story gatherer with the WWW2 People's War team, at Epsom and with the Box Hill project, to try and encourage as many people as possible to put their war time memories on the web.
