I have been interested in family history for many years. In fact, my eldest daughter started my interest when she had to 'do a family tree' at school in 1976. My two Grandfathers both served in WW1, my Dad in WW2 and since then my brother has also been a regular soldier, serving in Aden,and Gulf wars.
Consequently I have a keen interest in all aspects of my family's history, whether they turn out to be of note or notoriety! The surnames that I am interested in are: Turffrey, Fisk(e), Nudd, Lavelle/Prestwich, Stead and Daniels.
