I was born in London on the 19th of September 1934, my Father was a 'Bobby'.
War came and London was being bombed. I was sent (evacuated) to my Grandparents in Scarborough. Granddad had a Fish & Chip shop near the harbour.
I was later moved to South Wales, to my Father's Mother and his Sisters.
I joined the Army at 15, serving 18 years.
