CLIFTON BEDFORDSHIRE WARTIME MEMORIES OF THE VILLAGE
Recently, my husband and I have written a book of memories of living in the village of Clifton during the war years - not only our memories, but those of other people who lived there and of evacuees who came to Clifton. We had a book launch and over 150 people came back from all over the country to meet up once again with old friends - it was a memorable occasion and a day none of us will forget. We would encourage anybody who like us feel that these memories should be recorded, to write a book and get as much pleasure from doing so, as we did. Our book is called "Clifton Wartime Memories" If anybody is interested in buying a copy, we sell them at 拢7.00 each.
