I am coming from Beja, a small city, in North western Tunisia. My family has been strongly affected by what happened in this region between November 42 and May 43. I am trying right now to tell my family story. Beja was on the front line. I am looking for information about what happened in the area of Bouhzem (nearby Oued Zen) in late february 43 and early march 43 (battles, incidents, battalions involved, ...). I am looking for some information about an officer of the British army called Howl (?) or Howells (?) who was serving there at that time (I have been told that he had golden teeth).
