My dad George Macfarlane from Oldham, Lancashire served in the Royal Navy he spent some time on DEMS. He was torpedoed twice. I have his medals and service number and some of his service papers.
I would welcome any information on DEMS or even my Dad if anyone knew him, he died three years ago. As alway I wish I could talk to him about his time in the war now.
