Darlington Libraries are supporting the People's War Project and hope to encourage people in the the area to visit their local library and add to the site their own personal memories of World War Two.
This can be done by creating their own personal page or by using this one. Staff assistance is available in the e-library at Crown Street or by contacting a member of staff in the Centre for Local Studies. A number of people have already used this site to record their stories.
Events are being planned for later on in the Summer in which you can get involved to commerate the 50th anniversary of the end of the War. Please tel 01325 349616 for further details.
