I am a 27-year old Belgian teacher who teaches history and Dutch in Vilvoorde, next to Brussels. Ever since I was a young boy history interests me a lot and especially WWI and WWII. Several -deceased- family members have fought during WWI and WWII.My great-grandfathers brothers fought on the Yser front (one of them got killed in action), my great-grandfather on my mothers side fought during WWII and was a POW in Germany and later in Austria. What else can I say? Unfortunately I am confronted daily with the fact that youngsters seem to forget or even don't know anything about the two WW's. The worst question I ever had was: "Sir, is it true that Napoleon fought against the Germans during WWII?"....
