I was born in Wandsworth S.W.London in the 1920's and lived there until the 1950,s apart from Sept. 1939 to Apl.1943 when I was a "part time" evacuee
(See "an evacuee to Reading" and "an evacuee to Guildford").In the 1980's my grandchildren started asking me about the "old days" and WW2 for their school projects. The notes I made then are the basis of my contribution to this archive.
