this is an extract from my fathers war experiences, from 1938 to 1946. He inlisted into the Wiltshire RGt in 1938 before transfering to the R.A.C. in 1939. He served with a number of regiments (9th Lancers, 2nd Derbyshire Yeomanry, 7 Hussars) and places (france egypt, italy) till wars end, being de mobbed in 1946.
