My name is Audrey Roberts. I was born in Jarrow on the River Tyne but now live in Wrexham in NE Wales. I am a volunteer in a school project listening to children read in a primary school. As volunteers we have ` Meet and Greet` sessions where news and items of interest are exchanged. As it is over 60 years since the end of WW2 we were asked if we knew any anecdotes/stories of life during WW2. I have volunteered to be a `storygatherer` for anyone with a story to tell of those years.
