I am a forty something mother of two excellent kids, they inspire me to know and to be more. I have a smashing husband and various animal friends who live with me. My professional life is working in the field of mental health.
I am the youngest child of a family of eight children and as a late arrival find I span a generation (I know the lyrics to 'flannigan & alan' & 'busted'). Originally coming from Liverpool I was brought up on stories from WW2 and the experiences of my parents. My father was already dead by my age, a legacy of his active service and 33 years after his death his youngest granchild was born. This sort of makes me feel that maybe history isn't so long ago after all!
