My name is Geoffs Lad I was born in 1948 after my father came back from being a POW in Malaya,I myself am an ex RAF SNCO being demobbed in 1984.
I was educated in Beeston,I did a mechanical engineering apprenticeship from 1963-1967,whence I joined the RAF,I am married and I have 3 sons,2 daughters inlaw and 2 grandaughters,I have had a varied working life,departing once or twice from my engineering background,I have a younger brother who was also in the RAF and a younger sister.It is only recently that information concerning my Fathers service in the Royal Artillery has been passed onto me and I would like to conduct some research into this,I am a complete novice so any help would be greatfully accepted.
