My name is Michael Collier, I was born in Hendon,Middx in 1935 and moved to Hayes Middx soon after.
I spent the war years there and went to Cranford Park Primary School.
In 1946 I went to Drayton Manor Grammer School Hanwell, Left there in 1953 and started work in medical laboratories.
Was called up in 1956 and served 2 years in the RAF at the RAF Institute of Pathology and Tropical Medicine at RAF Halton.
Married in 1959 and moved to Plymouth in 1966, where we still live. We now have three grown up children and seven grand children
