My name is Paul Pateman and I was born over 10 years after the end of the war. But all of my close relatives such as parents, uncles and aunts lived through it and took part in some way in what happened. The story I have entered is about one of those uncles who I never met as he gave his life during WWII. I hope that this will provide some memorial to him and to what he gave in the cause he believed in
