I have posted information relating my father Albert Ricketts who was a pilot during WW2. He intially trained as a bomber pilot and flew Lockheed Ventura's, later he flew high-ranking RAF and Army staff as directed until the end of the war, including the German Surrender Team. Albert was awarded the AFC and AE medals.

Albert is still alive and lives in Bristol. Over the last couple of years he has learnt to use a PC and has written his war memoirs as a pilot. Until recently he was still flying.
