I was born in 1942 in Chichester where I lived with my mother until 1947. My father was an aircraft carpenter and subsequently became a Boatwright working on the Air Sea Rescue HSL's. In 1944 he was posted to India where he stayed until 1946.
My uncle served with 38 Squadron, RAF and was killed in Libya in 1941. I am researching the war-time careers of both family members.
