Hi Everybody my name is Angela and as part of my work I am holding a V.E. Day in Knowsley, Liverpool in July this year.

Unfortunately, I do not have any older generation to question about WW2 and V.E. day, so it may be tricky to organise an event.

I would like to hear stories from people who lived through the war during and after. People who were evacuated and possibly arrange for someone to visit this event and speak about personal experience.

I would like to print people's stories and pin them around the venue where I hold this event for other's to read.

It would be fantastic if people have any items of clothing, records, memorabilia that we could display to show others.

Any information would be really appreciate, I myself am being educated in the process. Our history is so important, I really would like this event to be informative and successful.
