My parents were both born in 1903. I believe they married in 1933.
I was born in May 1940, so my memory of the war years is limited. We lived in Welwyn Garden City, 20 miles North of London. My father worked in London, so in due course we were, as a family, very London oriented.
In response to the TV requests, I hope to post a story of my memories such as they are. I would be interested in having some of the gaps filled in; perhaps that is the way one's thoughts turn as one approaches retirement.
