I am a freelance researcher, specializing in historical maps. The author of the memories contained in 'Wartime in London' is the mother of a friend. She is in her nineties now and wrote her memories of the war period about four years ago. I asked if she would mind if I posted them on this site and she agreed, but prefers to remain anonymous. I am sure she would be pleased to hear of any comments made on her particular story.
