My grandad Daniel Currie was in the Navy during the war, he was 19 when he joined in April 1943 he served on the HMS Warspite (1943), HMS Swift (1944)and also HMS Vimy (1944), he was a X Stoker, 1st class, when i was younger he told me many stories from his time on the ships and even wrote the story down, unfortounatly he died almost 10 years ago, id love to hear from anyone who also had relatives on the same ships as him, i no he would be so proud to have his story on the internet for every one to read, so enjoy.....
