I was born in 1927 at Harborne Birmingham but we very soon moved to Northfield where I lived until I was 30. My wife Joan was born in Aston Birmingham,but during the war years lived in Washward Heath until the family home was damaged during the bombing and she & her father were injured. After that she lived in many different places. We first met at a youth club at Rubery in 1945 & were married in 1948. We lived at Northfield until we moved to Cornwall in 1957 where we have lived eversince. E.R.(Ted) Davies 26 January 2005
