My uncle was Sgt Thomas Crane (1532034) son of Thomas and Maud Crane, of Belfast, Northern Ireland.
He was a Bomb Aimer in 101 Sqdn based at Ludford Magna. The Lancaster III, LM 462 in which he was a Bomb Aimer was shot down over Rebrechien, France while on ABC (Airborne Cigar) duties during a raid to Stuttgart on 28th July 1944. All the crew were KIA and all are buried in the Rebrechien Communal Cemetery.
