I qualify as a war baby as born in 1944 and as just turned 60 I am grateful to those of the generation before me who are now fading away or were taken in ww2 defending my homeland or resisting it's enemies to enable me to see my grandchildren, which they never had a chance to have.
I would ask that they are not discouraged by the apparent disinterest in that period of our history by the new generation our young people are learning and appreciating how much they owe to those who were in he Forces and those at home who supported them.
