Having just accessed this site,I was very surprised to see a reference to the above operation.I was actually involved in it as a serving rating in the R.N.
The reason the operation was not widely known and given the credit it so richly deserved, was that it was as we all know now,one of WW2's most closely guarded secrets.I myself could not divulge to my own parents as to what vessel I served aboard.
There can't be many of us left who were involved in Pluto,but I'd like to hear from any who are.
I have written a book about my service in the R.N.and I would like to contribute some of the material ie training,humorous escapades etc.How would I go about this?
Is it permissible to write about Pluto?Would research desk advise.
