I was born in Sussex, I lived in Ashford kent most of my life in UK. My family and I emigrated to Australia in 1976 and now live in Brisbane Queensland. I am an internaionally published writer and hope to publish my first novel in USA shortly.
However, I have documented many of my childhood wartime memories in Ashford and hope to share some with you.(Our home was bombed on the same day my siblings school and elder siblings place of work was bombed) I write under the pen name of Violet Apted.
I have one son, two daughters and five beautiful grandchildren, all here in Australia.
