I am interested in this site because I want to share a letter which my father wrote after returning from Dunkirk.
He was in the 8th Royal Warwickshire Regiment and was also with the parachute regiment, I believe in Italy. I know that he was in Dunkirk, North Africa, Monte Cassino and somehow he was involved in the civil war in Greece, presumably peace-keeping.
It would be very interesting to know if anyone has any information about Corporal Horace Sly (or Sligh?).
