I was in the bombing of Bristol on 16th March 1941. My mother, father and 11 year old brother were killed. Their names were -

Emily Smith
Victor Smith
Edwin Smith

We lived at 88 Twinnell Road, Easton.
I am desperately trying to find out anything about this area and what happened after the bombing. Also would anyone know whether this was a shop - I think it was on a corner opposite a pub(Wm.Geo.Baker). I think ours was a Confectioners.
My grandmother, Mrs Elizabeth Smith also owned a general stores at 20 Canterbury st, Barton Hill. I have found this out from an old street directory. I know this is a long time ago but people live to a good age these days - so I am hoping! We did not have any ways of finding things out before the good old internet! It would be great to find some facts then I know I have got some roots!
