Hey my name is Shelley Hayward and I am Lorna Nobles granddaughter. She asked me to right the "Lawn Mowers in the sky" because it obviuosly means alot to her. I remember her telling me this story when i was only nine or ten. So really its been passed down! I have just finished secondary school and I studied history. I find it interesting what caused WW2 and why hitler did what he did. But mainly i have experienced visiting Aushwitz 1 and
Aushwitz-Birkenau. To be honest it is true at Aushwitz-Birkenau the birds dont even fly over the concetration camp. You can actually stand at the fence and hear them singing the other side of it!!! I dont meant to cause offence but I am amazed at the amount of people that died because of one mans hatred and ideals of prefection. I know the lead up to the war and basically it could have been stopped but i suppose i would have done what Neville Chamberlain had done if i were in his shoes!!
