The story I am trying to post on the web is not about me in particular but about my Father in Law Sammy Newton, since getting to know him through his Daughter Dorothea, over the years I got to know him realy well and to admire his quietness about his actions during the war, like many Ex-soldiers he kept his experiences to himself though there are probably the few who won the War single handed. To me he was gentle and would do anything for anyone, he took me into his Family without any worries that I was confined to a Wheelchair, being like he was "a little old fashioned" he never once tried to put his Daughter off marrying me which is half what I was expecting, we were adults and he treat as such to get on with our lives always knowing he was there should we need him and he always was, he was great.
