As my story "The Free Runner" indicates, my family's lack of any real information about my brother's experiences whilst escaping through France in June, July and August 1940 was what started me researching the subject. The results are embodied in the story I have submitted to the 大象传媒.
However many questions remain unanswered and these I summarise below.
1. What happened to the ground crew of 13 Squadron (Army Co-0peration) when it was ordered to withdraw from France in May or June 1940?
2. Are there any other accounts of individual members of the British forces escaping from France in 1940?
3. Has anyone information about the 'Missions to Seamen' centre in Marseilles which was still open in June - August 1940?
4. Are there any records, official or other, about the role of the British Consulate in Geneva
assisting escapers in 1940?

I would welcome and will reply to all responses to these questions or to the story itself.

Cathleen Teece.
