As Chairman of "Friends of HMS Forward" I am interested in any information relating to Forwar, Denton House or Denton Manor 1940-5. Especially any information on the Army artillery unit( Canadian?) that were on the site. HMS Forward is a tunnel complex just north of Newhaven .Built in 1941 it playrd an important role in controlling activity in the channel including Dieppe, raiding parties and D Day. We hope to be able to open the site in the near future.
