I joined this site mainly to find out any info about two of my uncles who lost their lives in WW2. My Uncle John was in the 63 (The Queen's Own Oxfordshire Hussars) Anti-Tank Regiment Royal Artillery. He was killed 17/11/44 by a V1 fired by the germans while he and his men where defending
Overloon in Holland. I have been to his grave but long to know more about him. My Grandad, His Brother finds it very hard even now to speak of him as, they were very close. He was only 24 when he was killed. My Grandad is now 95! Uncle John Was a Seargeant.
The second was Robert Dyason who was in the Navy and was tragically killed on the Carraco which was cut in two by the Queen Mary in October 42.
