Both my parents were affected by the War either on active service, my father, or on the home front as a child/teenager, my mother.I am particularly interested in how people reacted to a period of such stress/danger and the contrast to these relatively safe and affluent times in which we still manage it seems to claim we have problems!. Something no doubt to do with the human condition which will probably never change.

I have a keen interest in WW2 aviation stemming from my father's involvement.

I am generally enthused by how circumstances affected real people at any time in history.
