Orkney's Italian Gift |
|
One of the most moving and poignant stories to come out of Scotland's involvement in the Second World War, is the story of the Italian Chapel on Orkney. The Chapel is known as the Miracle of Camp 60 and was constructed by Italian POWs on a little island in Orkney. This chapel is all that now remains of Camp 60, and is a unique memorial of war's impact on man.
