"Sir Percy Thomas also built the new Guildhall, Concert Hall and Law Courts. All contained in Swansea's finest building."
"This is a masterpiece, early Modernism at its best. One of the finest buildings of its period in the UK. And of course, the result of an architectural competition."
"Patterned travertine floorings, soaring arches, coffered ceilings, and yards of Swedish marble. Clean classic lines, but nice local touches too. Details celebrate the Viking founders of the town."
"This is the Brangwyn Hall, one of Wales' best known spaces. It's used for concerts and conferences. The architect changed its proportion to accommodate these murals by the artist Frank Brangwyn. Originally designed for the House of Lords, they represent the Commonwealth. They were rejected. Probably they proved too frank for their Lordships, but they're full of colour, they're bursting with energy, and they're bustling with life."
