Your Story: My Grandad at 21 |

He worked in Palmers ship repair yard and in 1969 started with Swan Hunters ship building as a caulker burner and carried on as ship builder until he was made reduntant in the late 80s.
Then he started for william press and worked there for one year and then left. He then found it hard to find work with being in his 50`s and filled his time on the allotment growing vegetables.
