Your Story: Interview with Ted Oliver

He didn't need any qualifications but he went for an interview. When he had free time he played football and went cycling.

He only got paid £1 a week and he thought the payment was fair.He spent his money on football and cigarettes. He only had about five workmates.

He worked eight and half hours. His best bit about the job was working in the fresh air. His worst bit about the job was working in the wet and cold. When he met my grandma she worked at home.
