He has played host to some superstars in his time, interviewing Bob Marley and The Wailers. Herdle was responsible for co-ordinating Leicester's annual Caribbean Carnival for many years - an event which attracts thousands of people from all over the country, and is the largest of its kind after London's celebrated Notting Hil Carnival. Herdle also leads the team that produces 大象传媒 Radio Leicester's weekly sequence that brings together the latest news, features and comment for the local African-Caribbean community.
