If you鈥檙e interested in a future issue, but don鈥檛 know how to go about it.. just follow these simple steps..

1. Email us at history.liverpool@bbc.co.uk or write to us at 大象传媒 LOCAL HISTORY, 55 PARADISE STREET, LIVERPOOL L1 3BP. and tell us your proposed subject.

2. Research the place/event/people/buildings you wish to feature

3. Type or write up to 10 pages of text, assemble a selection of images and documentation.

4. Make sure you own copyright of any photographs or documents.

5. Send all the material to the above address OR Come into the Open Learning Centre at 大象传媒 Radio Merseyside, 55 Paradise Street, and learn how to post your Mersey Times on the internet.

6. You are now the proud proprietors of a monthly edition of the Mersey Times!

What is it?

Mersey Times is a monthly online local history magazine which you write. You pick the subject and you decide what the content will be.

What types of content can be published?

Anything e.g. photo's, music, poems, artwork - as long as it is to do with local history in this area.

It could be:

* Your memories - recorded in a variety of formats
* The history of a place or building.
* The history of an event e.g. the Matthew Street Festival

And history didn't just happen hundreds of years ago, your magazine could be about an event which maybe happened just 10 years ago.
