Winston launch campaign

Winston’s ‘Battle Bus’ goes on tour

Croydon’s Independent Mayoral hopeful Winston McKenzie took his battle bus on tour across South London.

The former boxer took his campaign to Croydon, Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham and Greenwich to garner support for his bid to become London’s Mayor.

"I will root-out gun and knife crime from London’s streets within eighteen months"

Winston McKenzie

Making several ambitious pledges, he is very confident he can deliver the solution to crime and gang violence in the capital:

“I will major on crime, with my Campaign Slogan, ‘Save our Children’ and root-out gun and knife crime from London’s streets within eighteen months”, says Winston

real outsider

Currently the only Independent campaigner in the race to become London Mayor on 1 May. Winston is confident he can go all the way despite being ranked a major outsider.

“I shall deliver – I have the knowledge and understanding to deliver on a seemingly impossible task. ….. Our children are dying on the streets every week from horrendous knife injuries, due to our broken society, which lacks law and order, discipline and respect.

My many dynamic policies include vital opportunities for our Youth …. by taking them [young people] off the streets.”

Winston won’t be the only Mayoral candidate to hit our streets. Over the coming weeks, the three main candidates, Boris Johnson, Ken Livingston and Brian Paddick are all expected to spend some time in the borough.
