Exchange Square will be transformed intoÌýseven small 'camps' each representing one of the 7 Ages of Manchester that have influenced the development of the city. Each camp will have re-enactors dressed in costume, with displays of fighting, cooking, arts and crafts and general life from the time. Interaction is key to the festival and there'll be the chance to take part by dressing up in costumes and taking part in guided walking tours of that particular period of Manchester.
| The Romans are coming! |
At the same time, The Big Screen will be involved in showing live relays of events taking place in the Square across the weekend and screening related films.
