RITZ,
Whitworth St. M1
Having to choose from 7 years of great recordings for Grand central
cannot be easy, but this is what the man from Aim must do when he
appears live with a full 10 piece band (ouch) to perform tracks
from Hinterland, cold water music and means of production albums.
This is a nite not to be missed as supporting him are Manchester's
J-walk live, the Nudge and Funky fresh few.

Why
not recommend or send us details of any club nights coming up in
Manchester?
Have
you been to any of our top 5 club nites this month? Do you agree
with Eno?
From
DJ Johnny 5 in Manchester
I would say that Eno has hit on the "popular" nights in
the Manchester scene but has left out some of the up and coming
nights in Manchester. I together with 3 other promoters have successfully
hosted several nights playing R'n'B, Hiphop Dancehall and Urban
house music as well as the inclusion of some live acts and PA's
to add even more spice. All of the nights we have held have been
successfull and we have built a community on the back of these nights.
Fortunately we have avoided the violence attributed to the scene
mainly through playing the tracks that people want to hear in a
"good vibes" environment. We want to keep a feel good
vibe at our nights whilst playing what can only be termed "music
made to dance to" .
