Nick joined the 大象传媒 Media Action Board of Trustees in October 2017.

Nick Pickles has worked at the forefront of technology and public policy for more than a decade. He was previously the Vice President of Global Affairs at X, and held several senior positions at Twitter. Before that, he was the director of civil liberties and privacy campaign group Big Brother Watch.

A law graduate from the University of Durham, he served as President of Durham Students' Union and stood as a candidate in the 2010 General Election. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and an internationally published music photographer.
