Man charged after leaving scene of fatal car crash

A man has been charged with failing to stop at the scene of a fatal crash involving a single car.
A 34-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the grey Mercedes E220, died at the scene of the incident in Buxton Lane, Caterham, in the early hours of 9 June.
Two other passengers, a man and a woman in their 30s, were injured, Surrey Police said.
Christopher Latham, 37, from London, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
He has also been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
Mr Latham has been remanded in custody.
He is due to appear at Guildford Magistrates Court on Thursday.
