The comedy of David Croft

From Walmington-on-Sea's wartime Home Guard, to knobbly knees competitions at Maplins holiday camp, and the 1970s glamour of Grace Brothers department store - David Croft's writing entertained television audiences in their millions.

To commemorate his work - following the announcement of his death at the age of 89 - take a nostalgic look back at five of the biggest comedies which David Croft helped to write.
