    The "socially-distanced" alternative titled Operation Needham Duck Pond will see with people in the Suffolk town asked to decorate plastic ducks to put on display in either house windows, garden or dotted around the town.

    A large graffiti mural depicting a Northampton-based musician has been created outside the town's Grosvenor shopping centre.

    's music has featured on ´óÏó´«Ã½ 1Xtra and she has released several singles and regularly speaks about mental health, as well as championing LGBTQ issues and her hometown.

    "It means the world to me to have a dedicated mural and know that all different kinds of people appreciate the artwork and the gesture," she said.

    The street artist behind the mural, who is not identifying themselves but is from Northampton, described FFSYTHO as a strong, black, female role model, and a very credible musician, with strong links to the town.

    The work - supported by Northampton Borough Council which describe the musician as a grime rapper - is one of over 100 murals celebrating street art and the town’s diverse culture.

    Three men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man in his 20s was found in a street with life-threatening injuries.

    The victim was found assaulted Arisdale Close, South Ockendon, in the early hours of this morning and a "large knife" was reportedly used in the attack.

    The man, in his 20s, remains in a critical condition, but his injuries are no longer thought to be life-threatening.

    A 22-year-old man from Dagenham, a 23-year-old man from South Ockendon and a 20-year-old man from Upminster have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in custody.
